Delete your KangaRoute account

You can permanently delete your account and associated synced data in the app, or send a request without reinstalling it.

In the app

1. Open KangaRoute and go to Account.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
3. Select Delete account, confirm your password and complete the security check.
4. Confirm permanent deletion.

Without the app

Email privacy@kangaroute.app, preferably from the address linked to the account. Include only the account email and state that you want it deleted. Never send your password.

We may request proportionate verification to prevent someone else from deleting your account.

Data covered

Deletion removes the account identity and associated synced data, including nickname, visa settings and regional work periods, subject to the technical processing time of the systems used.

References described in the app as local — such as Australian phone, super, emergency contact and temporary address — stay only on the device and are not accessible to KangaRoute. Remove them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
